Functional Skills Maths Level 2 Exam

About the Functional Skills Maths Level 2 Exam

The exam is made up of two sections, these sections are the:
Non-calculator paper (which lasts 30 minutes)
Calculator Paper (which lasts 1 hour 30 minutes)

The exam will last 2 hours overall and has to be taken all at once. It will consist of a wide range of topics that you will have to study and prepare for including: percentages and probability, information handling, shapes, spaces, and data.

For your convenience, the exam will be taken online. So there will be no travel involved! You will however need some equipment to be able to take the exam, these are:
Computer or Laptop (Chromebook, iPad/tablets and phones will not work for the exam)
Microphone
Webcam
Internet (with Zoom and a suitable internet browser)

The exam centre that organises the exam is highly recommended by us as they deal with 3 exam boards. Compared to most other exam centres that mostly deal with only 1. This gives more options of the exam you take to make sure the one you choose will be the best for you (we can help with the booking process if you are unsure!)
